Gonzaga Access Pledge

The Gonzaga Access Pledge is Gonzaga's full-tuition commitment to bridge the gap for college funding.

The Gonzaga Access Pledge provides grant and scholarship aid to cover the cost of tuition for first-year students throughout Washington state who qualify for the Federal Pell Grant*. This need-based financial aid program is awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional financial need and does not need to be repaid. The Gonzaga Access Pledge is renewable each year for students who continue to qualify for the Pell Grant, ensuring ongoing support throughout their education.

To be eligible for the Gonzaga Access Pledge:
  • Be a WA state resident
  • Be admitted to Gonzaga as first-year student
  • Submit a  (most students) or (students who cannot file a FAFSA).
  • Be eligible for the Federal Pell Grant* with an SAI lower than $25,000

*Undocumented Washington residents can be eligible for GAP even if not receiving a Pell Grant. Undocumented students must submit WASFA to be eligible for GAP.

  • Students who receive the Gonzaga Access Pledge will be notified when they receive their financial aid offer.
