The Chastek Endowed Scholarship was established in 1985 by Chester, ’38 and ’40 and Catherine Chastek for deserving law students. Chester taught at the law school for many years and also served as a Regent of Gonzaga Â鶹¹ÙÍø. Chester received the Distinguished Alumni Award in 1989. Chester and Catherine were great supporters of Gonzaga Â鶹¹ÙÍø and their legacy will live on forever. The library at the law school also bears the Chastek name.
