Alessandro Raveggi (Florence, 1980) is an author, scholar and professor of Modern Italian, English and Comparative Literature, teaching ENG202 Studies in Fiction at Gonzaga Â鶹¹ÙÍø in Florence, since 2015, where he is also the curator of the international series "GIF TALKS Encounters with Authors". Marie SkÅ‚odowska-Curie Actions Seal of Excellence recipient in 2020, Raveggi was a research fellow at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México from 2009 to 2011, at Ca' Foscari Â鶹¹ÙÍø of Venice from 2020 to 2023, and Faculty in Italian Studies at NYU Florence from 2013 to 2020. He has published fiction, non-fiction and poetry in Italian and international publishers and web-magazines, academic and literary reviews since 2003. He is the editor-in-chief of the first Italian bilingual literary magazine "The Florence Review".
