Future plans:

Next year I will be pursuing an MA in Health and Society at Â鶹¹ÙÍø College Cork in Cork, Ireland. The program is interdisciplinary and draws its courses from the departments of philosophy, public health, and economics. I plan to pursue further graduate education after my masters, and I aspire to work on healthcare system reform.

How has your major contributed to your professional or personal development?

My education as a human physiology major and philosophy minor have provided me with the skills and background to approach healthcare as multi-faceted issue that captures both science and the humanities.

What has been your proudest or most significant accomplishment during your Gonzaga career?

I am proud of my investment in the human physiology department though my roles as student, teaching assistant, and employee. I have been particularly involved within the anatomy lab and am proud of the impact I have had on that course. I am also proud of the work I have completed towards my Honors thesis, in which I explore the construction of the female body in medicine and philosophy.
