Representatives from Amazon will be visiting the SBA on Wednesday, October 10th to discuss opportunities in Accounting for students. There will be open office hours in Jepson 211 between 1:45pm and 3:30pm for all students. The focus is accounting, however the Amazon reps can share information about the culture and other employment opportunities. Kayla is a triple major and no three majors are alike. She sees both the data-driven aspects of life as well as the most humanistic aspects.
She describes it as "merely an inkling of a concept that I have always had in the back of my head." But, encouraged to submit a video to a competition for budding entrepreneurs, she refined her idea, submitted it and won a third-place prize of $1,000.
