Dear Sacramento City Unified School District Families,
Sac City Unified has been working tirelessly on behalf of our
children throughout the weekend to do all we can to bring them
back to school tomorrow where they belong. Here is where
negotiations with each labor partner stand as of now. Expect a
communication later today to confirm whether or not we are able
to open schools tomorrow.

Sacramento, CA - On Saturday, March 26, Sacramento City Unified School District (Â鶹¹ÙÍø) negotiations team met with representatives from SEIU to discuss our proposal to increase compensation for SEIU-represented employees. The district’s proposal includes the following increases in compensation for SEIU-represented employees:

Statement from Sacramento City Unified School District Superintendent and Board President Following Discovery of Racist Graffiti at Rosemont High School
Sacramento, CA - Sacramento City Unified School District is investigating an incident of racist graffiti that was discovered near the end of the school day at Rosemont High School on Tuesday, March 22. Immediately upon discovery, school administrators worked quickly to have the graffiti removed from a second-floor hallway and began reviewing security footage to provide evidence to law enforcement.

Sacramento, CA - Two individuals responsible for vandalizing Lincoln Elementary School with disturbing racist graffiti have been identified. The individuals are minor students in the Sacramento City Unified School District. As such, appropriate disciplinary action is being taken by the district.
Sacramento City Unified Provides Update on Incident Involving Graffiti Found at C.K. McClatchy
Sacramento, CA - Last Friday, the Sacramento City Unified School District initiated an investigation following the discovery of disturbing graffiti at C.K. McClatchy High School.
As a result of that site level investigation and in consultation with Sac PD, the person responsible for the graffiti has been identified. The individual in question is a minor student, and appropriate disciplinary action is being taken by the district.
