Sacramento, CA - The Sacramento City Unified
School District is organizing a Jacket Drive for its students
most in need. Bring new or gently used jackets for students to
help them stay warm this winter. All jacket sizes are welcome for
our TK through high school aged students.
Jackets can be donated at the 鶹 Serna Center (5735 47th Ave,
Sacramento) now through Friday, November 17. In the front lobby,
donors will find a large blue bin to leave the coats for kids
between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
“Our Student Support and Health Services team will make sure
these jackets get into the hands of the students and
families most in need this winter,” said Lisa Allen,
Interim Superintendent, Sacramento City Unified School
District.
