Kid ‘Green Teams’ to get cash for eco-friendly projects

June 5, 2012 (Sacramento): Fourteen student “green teams” from the Sacramento City Unified School District will learn on Thursday how much money they are getting to see their dreams of greener campuses come true.
鶹’s first-ever Project Green Allocation Awards will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday (June 7) at Rosemont High School, 9594 Kiefer Blvd.

June 7, 2012 (Sacramento): Since its opening in 1954, Freeport Elementary School has prepared generations of South Sacramento children for success in school and life.
As the neighborhood aged and children grew up and moved away, however, the school struggled to keep up its enrollment.
