District, teachers union to hold press conference on NCLB Waiver
April 8, 2014 (Sacramento): Sacramento City Unified School District and the Sacramento City Teachers Association (SCTA) will hold a joint press conference on Wednesday (April 9) on the future of the No Child Left Behind waiver at SCTA’s office in East Sacramento.
Â鶹¹ÙÍø Board President Patrick Kennedy and SCTA President Nikki Milevsky are scheduled to make a joint announcement.

April 15, 2014 (Sacramento): Twenty-five Â鶹¹ÙÍø student-led green teams will compete for $1 million in Measure Q money on Tuesday, April 22, at the 2014 Project Green Event, held this year at Isador Cohen Elementary School.
