Nutrition Policy
The Child Development Program follows the guidelines of “Child & Adult Care Food Program.”
Sacramento is nationally recognized as the “Farm to Fork Capital of America.” As such, our nutrition programs offered to children and their families promote eating more fresh fruits and vegetables.
Medication
Medication will be administered only to students whose parent and physician deem it necessary for potentially life-threatening medical conditions or for those who need medication administered during the school day in order to interact appropriately at school.

Routines for Reasoning
ALL 鶹 teachers are invited to engage and collaborate with colleagues in grade-band segments for a five-part learning series focused on understanding and implementing routines that promote mathematical reasoning and foster the Standards for Mathematical Practice.

Curriculum and Instruction Staff Resources
The Office of Curriculum and Instruction supports 鶹 schools in providing high quality curriculum and instruction designed to ensure that all students graduate college and career ready. A focus on college and career readiness permeates curriculum and instruction from grades preK-12 and within all of the content areas, including mathematics, English language arts, science, social science, foreign language, visual performing arts, and physical education.
