At the February 1 meeting of the Sacramento City Unified School District Board, the Board recognized Stellar Student Melanie Raya, a student at Hollywood Park Elementary School. Melanie is a member of the Hollywood Park Elementary School Leadership Club and plays on the school’s basketball team. Staff at Melanie’s school describe her as hard-working, trustworthy, responsible, respectful, and say she is a great role model for her fellow students.

We are seeking new standing Committee Members to:
Attend meetings the 1st Wednesday of every other month at the Serna Center – Indiana Room (unless otherwise noted) from 4:00pm-5:00pm
- Prioritize student and staff wellness initiatives
- Represent your school community
- Take action on topics that are important to you!

Joint Statement from Â鶹¹ÙÍø and SCTA on Two-Year Contract Agreement
The Sacramento City Unified School District (Â鶹¹ÙÍø) and the Sacramento City Teachers Association (SCTA) have reached agreement on a two-year contract that runs through June 30, 2025.

At the February 15 meeting of the Sacramento City Unified School District Board, the Board recognized Sam Brannan Middle School students Sabrina Mallette and Bella Pedroza as Stellar Students. Sabrina is recognized by school staff for being kind, hardworking, creative, and caring for her school community. Bella is a straight A student with a passion for learning, excellent citizenship, and classwork that consistently exceeds expectations.

The Â鶹¹ÙÍø Student Ambassadors and Dr. Hueling Lee, along with Superintendent Lisa Allen, will have its State Seal of Civic Engagement Virtual Kick-off TOMORROW (Thursday, February 22nd), at 5PM over Zoom. We highly encourage your attendance to learn more about getting the Seal on your transcript/diploma, district certificate, and a medal for graduation. Come ask your questions, even, and especially, if you are unsure about the State Seal!

Classified Positions: 10am to 1pm
(Examples: Instructional aide, bus driver, office staff, nutrition services, district administrators, custodians)
Certificated Positions: 2pm to 6pm
(Examples: Teachers, site administrators, district administrators, school nurses, social workers)
