for the High School Specialty Program Application
The High School Specialty Program application will be available from November 4, 2024 at 8:00am to November 22, 2024 at 5:00pm for students living within the Sacramento City Unified School District (Â鶹¹ÙÍø) boundaries.
Create a Parent/Guardian SchoolMint Account
Before applying for a specialty program, all families must create a . Once your parent/guardian account is created on SchoolMint, add your student(s) to the account.

List of Possible Interpreters for Â鶹¹ÙÍø
In an effort to provide better service for your interpretation needs, the Matriculation and Orientation Center has put together a list of possible interpreters who may be able to assist your school or department after their regular work hours. It is the responsibility of the requesting site or department to contact these interpreters and pay for their services (minimum 2 hour charge per assignment).

Recognizing Amazing Students
In Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Sacramento City Unified School District has selected one student from every bilingual program to speak at the board meeting. Sarah was selected to give a speech about a cultural celebration she is proud of and why it is special to her. She did a wonderful job representing our school and her culture. She shared why Dia de Los Muertos is her favorite celebration because it allows her to remember family members who have passed on. Kudos to Sarah! Felicidades Sarah!

I want to take this month to introduce myself to the Community School circle as well as the Hiram Johnson High School Community. I have been a staff member at Hiram Johnson since 2011 and can’t imagine working anywhere else. I have spent most of my time as a Science Teacher and in a leadership role within our Health Academy.
