February 1, 2024
At the February 1 meeting of the Sacramento City Unified School District Board, the Board recognized Stellar Student Melanie Raya, a student at Hollywood Park Elementary School. Melanie is a member of the Hollywood Park Elementary School Leadership Club and plays on the school’s basketball team. Staff at Melanie’s school describe her as hard-working, trustworthy, responsible, respectful, and say she is a great role model for her fellow students.
Joint Statement from 鶹 and SCTA on Two-Year Contract Agreement
The Sacramento City Unified School District (鶹) and the Sacramento City Teachers Association (SCTA) have reached agreement on a two-year contract that runs through June 30, 2025.

February 15, 2024
At the February 15 meeting of the Sacramento City Unified School District Board, the Board recognized Sam Brannan Middle School students Sabrina Mallette and Bella Pedroza as Stellar Students. Sabrina is recognized by school staff for being kind, hardworking, creative, and caring for her school community. Bella is a straight A student with a passion for learning, excellent citizenship, and classwork that consistently exceeds expectations.
